Life’s wounds: How to Solve Life’s Problems

life's wounds

As the saying goes, “You don’t live a hundred lives, you encounter a hundred problems.” Life is full of sixteen thousand problems. In solving life’s problems, some people reach their desired goal and are happy. Others not only do not solve their problems, but also increase their problems to the point of mental illness. We will define the difficult problems that we encounter in life as life’s wounds.

The nature of life’s wounds

A life experience can cause someone mental or physical suffering. This is life’s wounds. Getting sick, getting injured, getting sick from others, etc. are physical causes of life’s wounds. A fight with a close friend, a failed plan, losing money, losing a job, or the death of a loved one are psychological causes of life’s wounds.

The amount and duration of life’s wounds

Everyone experiences life’s wounds. Some of life’s pains are fleeting. Some life’s pains are long-lasting. Only those who experience them can judge the severity of a life’s pain. For example, the betrayal of a good friend is more painful than the loss of a loved one’s possessions. However, it is not easy for us to determine how severe a life’s pain is simply by knowing the cause of the life’s pain. There are also examples where the same cause causes different feelings. For example, suppose two people lose their jobs at the same time. For example, a married man with many children is very affected, but for the single man with wealthy parents, the loss of his job is not affected at all.

There are also minor life’s pains in the world that are not life-threatening. For example, when you go to the market and find that your wallet is missing, or when you are about to leave for work, a visitor arrives. These types of life’s pains are only a source of anxiety and are not felt as strongly.

Painful life stresses

If a person’s life plans, If a person’s ideas, goals, and reputation are disrupted, he or she will undoubtedly suffer severe life stress. There are many more painful life stresses in the world than failing an exam or not getting a job. These include the death of someone in the family, serious injuries that cause a limb to be damaged, and a house fire. These life stresses are severe and long-lasting. Sometimes, the life stress is so severe that a person cannot bear it, and ends up committing suicide or going crazy. Some life stresses are not severe if they are experienced for a short time. But they become severe when they are experienced for a long time.

No matter how small, the stress of life is not something that should be felt for a long time. It should be faced and resolved in a short time. If the stress of life lasts for a long time, at the peak of the stress of life, the person who suffers from it cannot control it and his whole life is ruined.

The condition of a person who suffers from stress of life

Although the stress of life can be considered moderate when he is in good health, some people cannot bear even the normal stress of life when they are in poor health. In other words, when people suffer from physical illness, their mental endurance also decreases. When a person faces mistakes and difficulties, when they can no longer expect help and support from others. When their expectations for the future are destroyed, they feel stress of life more severely.

Coping with Life’s Trials

People make mistakes in childhood. They don’t understand how to avoid making mistakes or how to take care of themselves. However, as they grow older, they come to understand the situations that bother them and the troubles they cause to others, and they learn how to control them. They also learn that the more they can control themselves, the better they will be. When they get older, they try to overcome life’s trials by discarding the old methods they used, correcting what they should, and using new methods. In the process, some people become more resilient, while others become more easily discouraged.

If we assume that life’s trials are always present, we don’t feel as strongly about them when we actually encounter them. Being prepared to face the worst and expecting the worst can help us to increase our resilience.

Goal Replacement

When faced with an unfulfilled desire, the decision we make is whether to give up or to keep trying, whether to change our goal or goal. Sometimes giving up is the right thing to do. Sometimes it is better to keep trying with full determination.

One of the best ways is to change our goal. The example is that of a famous singer who originally aimed to become a famous singer. However, one day he got seriously ill and lost his voice. So he stopped trying to become a famous singer and turned to composing music and tried to become a famous singer, which he succeeded in. Here, the goal of “singing famous” was replaced by “musical singer famous”.
